Mould Inspection
A thorough inspection, undertaken by qualified professionals, is the key to successful treatment of mould.

Our Inspection Process
Visual inspection, including photography
We don't just inspect the area(s) reported to us, we inspect the entire property, so that we identify all the mould and also understand the pattern of mould behaviour across the property.
Moisture assessment
We use visual observation, moisture meters and infrared cameras to identify any causes/sources of water ingress. The prolonged presence of water or high humidity is the primary cause of mould growth, and this must be addressed as part of any effective solution.
Invasive inspections
We use inspection cameras to see behind walls and into cavities, using existing access points where possible, or cutting small inspection holes when necessary.
Mould Testing
Sometimes, air and/or surface sampling is required in order to determine the extent and type of mould contamination present. All samples are analysed by an independent laboratory, and the results shared with our customers.
Sub-floor moisture & drainage
We investigate sub-floor moisture and drainage, as this can have a significant impact on mould inside the living space; e.g. rising damp & mould migration through floorboards.
Reporting
We issue a detailed, written report as soon as possible after our inspection. The report presents our findings, recommended courses of action and an itemised quote. Photographs, moisture meter readings and lab results (if acquired) are included in the report.
