Mould remediation

Following recent floodings at Koveda, all cabins experienced varying degrees of water damage. One of the flow-on effects of the sustained water ingress is mould contamination.

Over the past few months the Nanotise team has worked with a few cabin owners to develop a cost-effective method of treating Koveda cabins for mould. An introductory video, explaining our approach, can be viewed below, together with a short video of each of the cabins initially treated.

We are now confident that we have a solution that can both kill and remove the existing mould, but also inhibit its return after cabin renovations have been completed.

Pricing

The price we’ve landed at for a remedial treatment of the average Koveda cabin is $2,500 +GST.

This provides for only minimal cleaning of the cabin “shell” (other than mould removal) and does not include any structural remediation work (e.g. removal of gyprock, if required). Cabins requiring deep cleans, removal of gyprock (if required), removal of floor coverings, or hand cleaning of furniture and other personal items will attract additional costs, which will be quoted separately on inspection.

The above price assumes that we can secure 6-10 cabins to treat over a 3 day period. If you’d like to secure a spot in the next or subsequent three-day blocks, then please complete and submit the contact form below, and we’ll be in touch to confirm details with you and lock in a date.

The price includes a Mould Treatment Certificate detailing the treatment to you cabin.

The dates we currently have scheduled are:
Block 1: 12 – 16 December
Block 2: 19 – 23 December
Block 3: 3 – 6 January
Block 4: 9 – 13 January

Cabins will be prioritised on a first come, first served basis.
